Qlumos Privacy Policy

Qlumos is a camera app published by Abdul Afham (“I”, “me”). This policy describes what Qlumos does with information on your device.

I do not collect your data

Qlumos has no account and no sign-up. It does not include analytics or tracking. I do not operate a backend that receives your videos, photos, contacts, or identifiers. The app is designed to work fully offline.

What happens on your device

• Camera and microphone — used only while Qlumos is open, to show the live preview and to record clips you choose to capture. Frames are processed on the device for effects. They are not uploaded to me.
• Hand and face detection — some effects detect hands or faces in the live frame to position the effect. This runs entirely on the device, in memory, while the effect is active. Qlumos does not identify people, does not create face templates or biometric data, and stores or transmits nothing from this processing.
• Photos — a clip is written to your Photos library only if you save it. Qlumos requests add-only access. I do not read your photo library.
• Settings — choices such as onboarding, quality, and “pinch to change filter” are stored locally on the phone.

Apple

If you download Qlumos from the App Store or use iOS features (such as Photos), Apple may process information under Apple’s privacy policy. That is Apple, not Qlumos.

Children

Qlumos does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. I do not use the app to track children or to show them ads. A parent or guardian should decide whether a child may use the camera and microphone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated text will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
